Parking & Shuttle

Park at Autzen Stadium and ride the FREE shuttle to Hayward Field on Saturday, July 5.

Garage parking and metered street parking near Hayward Field are available but very limited.

Please review the prohibited items list below before boarding the shuttle.

PARK & RIDE SHUTTLE HOURS

8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The shuttle will run every 20 minutes. Available on Saturday, July 5 only.

ADA PARKING

ADA parking will be available for free on 15th Avenue between Agate Street and Moss Street. Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

OTHER TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS

  • A bike valet will be available on Saturday, July 5, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. PT, located next to the Knight Law Center on Agate Street, just east of Hayward Field.

    Only bikes and e-bikes will be accepted. We are unable to check bags and saddlebags need to be empty.

  • Eugene has hundreds of blue bicycles available for self-service rental from hubs throughout central Eugene, many of which are adjacent to free parking (Skinner's Butte, Lane Events Center, YMCA). Leave your car far from the venue and ride right up to one of the many on-campus bike pickup and return hubs close to Hayward Field.

  • Public Transportation in Lane County is operated by Lane Transit District (LTD). For public transportation information, including bus schedules, please visit www.ltd.org.

    Rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft are available in Eugene. Please note driver availability varies and is limited.

Show your ticket to the ticket scanners at the gate via the Go Ducks Gameday mobile app for quick and easy entry!

Re-entry Policy

Re-entry is allowed with a re-entry stamp from a gate supervisor.

Women’s Care Lactation Space

The Prefontaine Classic is proud to partner with Women’s Care to offer safe, climate-controlled lactation spaces for attendees.

On Saturday, July 5, lactation spaces will be available in the Marshfield District fan festival on Agate Street and will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. PT.

Sustainability

At The Prefontaine Classic, we’re committed to reducing our environmental impact through thoughtful and actionable sustainability practices.

Bring Your Own Water Bottle

Fans are encouraged to bring their own empty water bottles and fill up at one of the many free water stations throughout Hayward Field. Personal reusable water bottles of any size are allowed, but metal bottles are not permitted inside the venue.

Go Green: Walk or Bike to Hayward Field

The Pre Classic encourages fans to use alternative and active modes of transportation to get to the event, including walking and riding bicycles. Bike valets will be available as part of the event — click here for more information.

Hayward Field Guest Policies

  • No cash will be accepted at Hayward Field. All merchandise and concession transactions will be card or tap-to-pay only.

  • The University of Oregon has a Clear Bag Policy for all athletics events. Fans may bring in one clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a 1-gallon plastic storage bag. Fans are limited to one clear bag per person. Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" are allowed. Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, purses, backpacks (including drawstring backpacks), diaper bags, binocular cases, camera cases, fanny packs, luggage, seat cushions with a zipper, any bag larger than the permissible size, and any bag that is not clear.   • We encourage everyone coming to Hayward Field to bring personal refillable water bottles (metal water bottles are not allowed) to the event. 

    Free water refilling stations will be available throughout Hayward Field.

  • Any professional equipment or device capable of being used for the recording, transmission or dissemination by any other manner of sound, moving or still images, description or results of the Event, including, but not limited to, cameras with detachable lenses, GoPro cameras, drones and remote-controlled unmanned aerial vehicles, selfie sticks and hand-held extension poles for cameras or other electronic devices. Personal cell phones are permitted.

  • The following items are prohibited from entering the secure perimeter of the venue. This list is subject to change.

    • Purses larger than a clutch (4.5” x 6.5”) or bag including but not limited to briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, cinch bags, cooler bags, computer bags, camera bags, binocular case or luggage of any kind

    • Bottles, cans, glass containers, open plastic beverage containers (unless empty), thermos, vacuum bottles and other similar insulated containers, metal containers (including metal water bottles and aerosol sunscreen)

    • Seat cushions with pockets, zippers, compartments or covers

    • Coolers, ice chests, alcoholic beverages, picnic baskets, food (unless medically necessary)

    • Strollers

    • Certain banners, poles, weapons, munitions, ammunition, umbrellas, balls, frisbees, explosives, fireworks, flares and smoke bombs, drones, laser pointers, inflatable devices or any other items which could compromise public safety or disrupt the athletes or cause unreasonable interference to other spectators’ view of events or interfere with television production

    • Any type of promotional or commercial item including but not limited to banners, badges, signs, symbols and leaflets

    • Any professional equipment or device capable of being used for the recording, transmission or dissemination by any other manner of sound, moving or still images, description or results of the Event, except for sound or video devices brought for private use (e.g. personal cell phones)

    • Any other material held as dangerous and/or not authorized by the Rules. The list of Prohibited Items is subject to change and interpretation at the sole discretion of the Authorities without notice.

  • The Prefontaine Classic is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all in attendance. To ensure a safe and celebratory environment, we ask that spectators refrain from the following behavior:

    • Smoking; for a healthier community and cleaner environment the University of Oregon is smoke and tobacco free. All visitors are asked to not smoke or use tobacco products on University of Oregon owned or controlled properties which includes Hayward Field and its grounds.

    • Violating federal, state, or local laws; failing to follow instructions of event personnel or law enforcement.

    • Bringing prohibited items into the venue (see list above).

    • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature; profanity or other offensive language; wearing obscene or indecent clothing (footwear is required at all times); fighting or threatening behavior; unauthorized loitering or solicitation; gambling.

    • Interfering with the progress of competition (including throwing of items or entering the competition field/track); obstructing views of other spectators or access ways (including banners, umbrellas, signs, flags); affixing signs or other materials to the venue.

    • Unauthorized recording, videotaping, broadcasting or transmission through mobile phones, radios, and other recording or transmission devices; unauthorized marketing, advertising or promotional activity.

    • Operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS/drones) is prohibited within a one-mile radius of Hayward Field during competition.

    Failure to comply with the Spectator Code of Conduct will result in removal from the venue.
