    • The two-night and three-night packages provide accommodations in a University of Oregon residence hall (Unthank Hall)*, just across the street from Hayward Field.

    • Guests may choose between a single-occupancy room with one twin-sized bed (for one guest) or a double-occupancy room with two twin-sized beds (for two guests).

    • All rooms include a private, in-room bathroom.

    • A valid event ticket or accreditation to the 2026 Pre Classic is required for all guests.

    • Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time on the first day of your stay. Check-out is on Sunday, July 5 by 12:00 p.m. Pacific time.

    • Guests under the age of 18 will be provided only room access and must be chaperoned in the building by an accompanying adult at all times.

    • A maximum of one guest may stay in a single occupancy room. A maximum of two guests may stay in a double occupancy room. All guests must have a valid ticket or accreditation to the 2026 Pre Classic.

    • Rooms include a meal plan in the dining facilities at the Pacific Northwest Public Market, located on the ground floor of Unthank Hall.

    • Guests will receive three meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) on Friday and Saturday.

    • On Thursday, only dinner will be provided, and on Sunday, only breakfast.

    • Each room features twin-sized beds at a standard height, desks with chairs, and wardrobes.

    • Sheets, blankets, and pillows are provided, as well as towels and washcloths. No sleeping bags will be allowed. Beds are made upon arrival. Please remember to bring your own toiletries.

    • Your purchase includes a complimentary overnight on-campus parking pass for the full duration of your stay.

ACCOMMODATION PACKAGES

Packages do not include a ticket to The Prefontaine Classic. A separate purchase of an event ticket is required.

Must be 18 years or older to book a Pre Classic accommodations package.

The room reservation and booking are non-refundable and non-transferable. Guests are not eligible for a refund for unused nights.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms apply to guests purchasing and using Pre Classic spectator housing at University of Oregon facilities. By completing your purchase and/or checking in, you agree to these terms.

  • All spectator housing package purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • a. Guests staying in spectator housing must have a valid Prefontaine Classic ticket or accreditation.

    b. Single-occupancy rooms: maximum of 1 guest.

    c. Double-occupancy rooms: maximum of 2 guests.

    d. Only registered guests may stay in assigned rooms.

  • Guests under age 18 are provided room access only and must be chaperoned in the building by an accompanying adult at all times.

  • a. Check-in begins at 2:00 p.m. PT.

    b. If arriving before 2:00 p.m. PT or after 2:00 p.m. PT on July 3, email accommodations@gotracktownusa.com.

    c. Check-out is by 12:00 p.m. PT on July 5.

    d. Rooms must be left clean and in the same general condition as received.

  • a. Guests must follow University of Oregon housing policies, applicable federal, state, and local laws, and instructions from authorized University and event staff.

    b. Guests must treat staff, other guests, and University property respectfully.

  • a. Disabling or bypassing security devices or procedures, including propping open doors that close automatically.

    b. Duplicating, lending, or unauthorized use of keys or access devices.

    c. Violating quiet hours or interfering with University employees.

    d. Unauthorized or illegal use of telephones.

    e. Use, possession, or sale of illegal drugs or narcotics.

    f. Illegal gambling activity.

    g. Possession of firearms, fireworks, firecrackers, dangerous chemicals, dangerous weapons, hunting arrows, or potentially injurious items.

    h. Unauthorized group activity, illegal entry, or disorderly/indecent conduct.

    i. Misuse, theft, damage, or destruction of University property.

    j. Unauthorized cooking appliances or heat-producing devices (for example: electric heaters, electric blankets, sun lamps, clothes dryers).

    k. Placement of items/equipment outside the room that may be unsafe or undesirable.

    l. Interference with fire controls or life-safety systems.

    m. Commercial use of University property without permission.

  • a. Propping doors that close automatically is prohibited.

    b. The first occurrence may result in a warning.

    c. Additional occurrences may result in a $50 fine per incident.

  • a. Alcohol must comply with all applicable laws and University policies. Alcohol in prohibited public areas is not allowed.

    b. The University of Oregon is a smoke- and tobacco-free campus. Smoking and tobacco use are not permitted.

    c. Open flames are not permitted.

    d. Pets are not permitted in spectator housing, except as permitted by applicable law (including service animal requirements).

  • Your housing purchase includes a complimentary overnight parking pass for the duration of your stay, subject to posted parking rules and designated parking areas.

  • a. For health, safety, or policy reasons, the University of Oregon and/or event organizers may require a guest to leave University premises or stop an activity.

    b. Guests removed for safety concerns or policy violations will not be reimbursed.

  • Guests assume all risks and dangers associated with being on the University of Oregon campus, including any bodily harm and property damage or loss incidental to being on the University of Oregon campus.

    Guests understand that organizers of The Prefontaine Classic and University of Oregon personnel (the “Authorities”) cannot control all the actions of third parties and that the Authorities are not responsible for all acts or omissions of any third parties, even if the parties’ acts or omissions are in violation of these Terms and Conditions. EACH GUEST RELEASES ORGANIZERS OF THE PREFONTAINE CLASSIC AND THE UNIVERSITY OF OREGON AND THEIR OWNERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS, AND WAIVES ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY BODILY HARM (INCLUDING DEATH) OR PROPERTY DAMAGE OR LOSSES ARISING FROM OR INCIDENTAL TO THE EVENT OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE HARM, DAMAGE, OR LOSS IS CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENT ACTS OR OMISSIONS OF ONE OR ANY OF THE AUTHORITIES OR THEIR OWNERS, AGENTS, EMPLOYEES, OR CONTRACTORS, AND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT.

  • This Agreement has been entered into under, and is subject to, and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon (excluding its Conflicts of Laws Rules). At the option of the organizers of The Prefontaine Classic, all disputes between the parties arising out of, or related to this Agreement, may be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. Arbitration Hearings shall be convened in Lane County, Oregon.

    In the event any dispute is resolved by court rather than arbitration proceedings, the parties agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for Lane County, Oregon, or the Eugene Division of the United States District court for the District of Oregon. The prevailing party in any litigation or arbitration shall be awarded such party’s reasonable attorney’s fees, costs, and expenses incurred therein (including deposition costs) and in any appeal therefrom, and in enforcing or collecting any judgment or award rendered.
