Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to be a professional athlete? Now is your chance to walk in the footsteps of the pros as a Youth Buddy at the 2025 Prefontaine Classic. Kids in 1st through 8th grade are invited to apply for a chance to be chosen as one of the lucky few who will be paired with a professional track and field athlete to accompany them as they make their way onto Hayward Field prior to competing. Youth Buddies then get to watch the competition from the best seats in the house as they sit near where their event is being contested. If the athlete you are paired with wins the event, you even get to join them for a victory lap around the track.

All Youth Buddies will receive two (2) free tickets so that a parent/guardian can sit with them during the event. The Prefontaine Classic will serve as part of the 2025 Wanda Diamond League series with competition set for Saturday, July 5.
