Lexus Legacy Experience Guest Information

Know Before You Go

Important: You must have an event ticket (separate purchase) to the 2025 Pre Classic in order to access the Lexus Legacy Experience.

Welcome to the Lexus Legacy Experience at the 50th edition of The Prefontaine Classic

We are excited to have you join us at this historic event, and are even more excited to elevate your experience with this all-inclusive VIP experience.

How To Access Your VIP Pass

The Lexus Legacy Experience is located on the turf fields on the west side of Hayward Field. We encourage guests to enter the brunch experience via University Street. To access the space from the stadium for the post-meet happy hour, follow the directional signage and proceed toward the concourse adjacent to the homestretch.

Each guest must check in individually with a VIP representative at the designated tent. A valid photo ID is required for entry.

If you purchased Lexus Legacy Experience passes on behalf of additional guests, please email partnerships@gotracktownusa.com to confirm their access.

  • Lexus Legacy Experience guests have the exclusive opportunity to enter Hayward Field via a direct, VIP-only staircase that takes guests to the West Concourse behind section 121.

    As event tickets are scanned prior to entry to the Lexus Legacy Experience, no additional ticket scan will be required for entry to The Prefontaine Classic.

  • Guests are invited to enter the Lexus Legacy Experience via the west side of the Experience, at the intersection of the Gold and Emerald Paths just off University Street.

    Check-in for the post-meet happy hour will available at both that location, as well as via the home stretch concourse inside Hayward Field. Please follow the directional signage in the stadium.

    Both the Pre Classic event ticket and the Lexus Legacy Experience’s guest ID are required for check-in.

    This primary entrance is approximately a 200m walk from the University Street parking area. If mobility restrictions will prevent a guest from walking the Gold Path, please email partnerships@gotracktownusa.com for transportation options.

    Guests may also enter the Lexus Legacy through Hayward Field and the VIP stairs, located on the West Concourse behind section 121.

  • CLEAR BAG POLICY FOR SPECTATORS

    The University of Oregon has a Clear Bag Policy for all athletics events. Fans may bring in one clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" or a 1-gallon plastic storage bag. Fans are limited to one clear bag per person. Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5" x 6.5" are allowed. Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to, purses, backpacks (including drawstring backpacks), diaper bags, binocular cases, camera cases, fanny packs, luggage, seat cushions with a zipper, any bag larger than the permissible size, and any bag that is not clear.     PERSONAL WATER BOTTLE POLICY

    We encourage everyone coming to Hayward Field to bring personal refillable water bottles (metal water bottles are not allowed) to the event. 

    Free water refilling stations will be available throughout Hayward Field.

VIP Parking

Each Lexus Legacy Experience pass includes parking at no additional cost on University Street, between 18th and 15th Avenues with entry via 18th Avenue.

The Lexus Legacy Experience parking pass will be emailed to each registered guest the evening of Friday, July 4. The Lexus Legacy Experience parking pass can be printed or shown digitally to event security for entry to park on University Street.

Parking spots are not individually reserved and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Heritage Brunch

  • Gates open to the Lexus Legacy Experience at 10:00 a.m. PT prior to the start of The Prefontaine Classic. All food and beverage stations will be open upon gates opening.

    In addition to entertainment provided by DJ Smuve. FloTrack will host their Wanda Diamond League companion show “The Athlete’s Lounge” LIVE from the Lexus Legacy Experience beginning at 11:00 a.m. PT.

    Guests are asked to make their way from the Lexus Legacy Experience into Hayward Field by noon PT to be in their seats in time to experience the world’s best meet! VIP gifts will be provided upon exit from the Lexus Legacy Experience area.

VIP Concessions

  • From 12:00–3:00 p.m. PT, Lexus Legacy Experience guests have access to the exclusive VIP concessions station located on the concourse behind section 121.

    Light snacks and canned beverages are available at no cost to Lexus Legacy Experience guests by displaying their VIP wristband.

Celebration Happy Hour

  • The Lexus Legacy Experience re-opens for the post-event Celebration Happy Hour at the conclusion of meet competition — approximately 3:00 p.m. PT.

    Lexus Legacy Experience guests have the exclusive opportunity to toast with select Pre Classic event winners, hosted by Tiara “Tee” Williams and thanks to sparkling wine from Walnut Ridge Winery.

    In addition to event winner toasts and entertainment provided by DJ Smuve, FloTrack will host “The Athlete’s Lounge” LIVE from the Lexus Legacy Experience beginning at 3:00 p.m. PT.

    Food and beverage service at the Lexus Legacy Experience will conclude at 5:00 p.m. PT.

All-Inclusive Food & Beverage

The pre-meet Heritage Brunch (10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. PT) features a variety of delicious options, including waffles with locally sourced toppings, fresh-baked pastries and bread, artisan cheeses, charcuterie, savory bites, chicken sausage, smoked salmon, roasted potato and cauliflower skewers, seasonal fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, sweet treats, and more.

The post-meet Celebration Happy Hour (3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. PT) will feature a variety of food stations, including gourmet slider sandwiches (roasted turkey with Swiss and fig butter, fire-roasted red pepper with goat cheese, pork belly banh mi, and tri-tip), Oregon-inspired bites (smoked wild salmon mousse tartlets, Oregon hazelnut and brie crostini, smoked Tillamook cheddar pinwheel puffs), and international flavors (ensalada de aguacate tartlets, yuzu sake-glazed pork belly bites, and Thai curry chicken kabobs).

Beverages served at both the Heritage Brunch and the Celebration Happy Hour include champagne, Hop Valley beer, 2 Towns cider, spirits from Bull Run Distillery, and wine from Walnut Ridge Vineyard. Bottled water and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

VIP Concessions during competition hours (12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. PT) include Grab-N-Go snacks (chips, sweet treats, etc.), beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

  • Gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options will be available during both the pre-meet Heritage Brunch and post-meet Celebration Happy Hour.

    If guests have food allergies, please inquire with a member of catering staff prior to eating.

  • Same-day purchases to the Lexus Legacy Experience will be permitted, though we encourage guests to purchase passes in advance for enhanced communication and planning purposes.

    Please note that Hayward Field, including the Lexus Legacy Experience, is a cashless venue and only tap-to-pay or credit cards will be accepted for on-site payment.

  • The Lexus Legacy Experience is reserved for pass purchasers.

    A ticket to the 50th edition of The Prefontaine Classic is required and not included with a Lexus Legacy Experience pass purchase.

    Fans may purchase a pass to the entire Lexus Legacy Experience, or just the Celebration Happy Hour, at the check-in stations.
